Upon stumbling on this marvelous little book, full of inspirational wisdom written by B.J. Gallagher, I got the idea of starting a new collection: postage stamps and postmarks on book covers!

The postage stamp pictured on the dust jacket design of the book is from Great Britain’s penny stamps series printed during George V reign (1910-1936). One penny was the ongoing rate at the time for postcards sent within the UK.
